My name is Jenn and with the help of my boyfriend Rick, we run an Etsy shop called Suite 22 that offers a diverse selection of antiques, collectibles, unique, unusual, and whimsical oddities. As the store and our personal collections began to grow, we decided to open up The Book Vault, a second Etsy store, dedicated to antiquarian, vintage, and collectible books and paper ephemera.

Together, we spend countless hours on the road, hitting every estate sale, auction, and flea market along the way, in order to handpick vintage items for your personal collection. Whether to be used in jewerly projects, arts & crafts, steampunk projects or just home decor is up to you.

This is a place for us to tell the story of the interesting and unusual treasures we find, the characters we meet along the way and the beautiful sites we encounter upon our journey.

Enjoy.

Most pieces are available for sale through our Etsy stores. Other pieces are from our personal collections.

My finds from this weekend.
I had to work at my “real job” all weekend so I didn’t get a lot of hunting time in but Saturday I got out of work just in time to squeeze in an estate sale 15 minutes before they closed up shop. The house was chock full of crap and I wish I had way more time to dig around but I made due with the 15 minutes I had. In the basement I ended up finding an old cigar box full of vintage eyeglass frames from the 50’s along with a Bausch & Laumb Optics helpful hint guide and measuring tools. The basement was full of cigar boxes full of odds and ends… it was so hard to leave but the people running the sale had a long day and were ready to close up. Sigh. The woes of being a treasure hunter.
These items will be listed at Suite 22 soon, check back!
